For the 40th anniversary of the Silver Eagle program, we have successfully assembled exactly ten full 19-piece Burnished Silver Eagle sets — every one of them flawless, every one of them perfect.

Why It Took Us Four Years

We scoured the world. We submitted the best coins we could find to NGC (Numismatic Guaranty Corporation) to be professionally slabbed and graded. The coins that didn't earn a perfect 70 grade got sold off. The perfect 70s — and only the perfect 70s — were placed into a special Global Coin Series Anna Cabral holder. (Anna Cabral was the 42nd Treasurer of the United States under President George W. Bush.)

NGC grades so few Burnished coins in perfect 70 condition that the auction and price guide values for flawless specimens routinely trade for thousands of dollars per coin.
