GCB88 — 2006-2025 Burnished Silver Eagle 19-Piece Set, NGC MS70, Anna Cabral "Global Coin Series"
Retail: $15,180 | Population: 10 sets only
Today, Global Coin is proud to announce the completion of over four years of work.
For the 40th anniversary of the Silver Eagle program, we have successfully assembled exactly ten full 19-piece Burnished Silver Eagle sets — every one of them flawless, every one of them perfect.
This isn't a marketing line. It's the truth. And I want to walk you through exactly why this matters, why it took us four years, and why the ten people who own these sets are going to look back on this moment as one of the smartest acquisitions of their collecting lives.

Why Burnished Silver Eagles Are Different
Unlike Mint State and Proof Silver Eagles, which have been produced every single year from 1986 to 2026 (excluding the 2009 Proof), Burnished Silver Eagles are only produced sporadically. That minting anomaly alone is one of the many reasons collectors and investors aggressively seek out Burnished coins.
But the bigger reason is mintage.
Burnished Silver Eagles are the perfect storm: very few years of production, and very low mintage numbers for the years they were produced.
Numbers Don't Lie
Everything on Earth is valued based on supply and demand. That's the rule. Always has been, always will be.
Global Coin is based in Madison, Wisconsin. Why can someone buy a 3,000 square foot house in Wisconsin for under $500,000 — but that same property in Manhattan would sell for over $10 million? Supply and demand. Around 2 million people live on the island of Manhattan. Only about 300,000 live in the Madison area.
Same is true with baseball cards. Stamps. Celebrity autographs. Art. Collectors cars.
And coins are no different. Silver Eagles are the most collected silver coin in the world. It's estimated that over 50 million people in the United States have collected or currently own silver coins.
Here Are the Numbers
Total Silver Eagles minted from 1986 to present (Mint State, Proof, and Burnished combined):
655,877,374
Here's the breakdown of those half-billion-plus Silver Eagles:
- Mint State (Bullion): 624,536,642 — 95.2% of all Silver Eagles minted
- Proof (Collector): 26,649,637 — 4.1%
- Burnished: 4,691,095 — 0.7%
Read that last number again. Burnished Silver Eagles represent less than three-quarters of one percent of all Silver Eagles ever minted.
Why It Took Us Four Years

Here's the best part — and why it took a huge company like Global Coin over four years to put just ten sets together.
Burnished Silver Eagles are hard to find in any condition. But to find them all in perfect, museum-quality MS70? Nearly impossible.
We scoured the world. We submitted the best coins we could find to NGC (Numismatic Guaranty Corporation) to be professionally slabbed and graded. The coins that didn't earn a perfect 70 grade got sold off. The perfect 70s — and only the perfect 70s — were placed into a special Global Coin Series Anna Cabral holder. (Anna Cabral was the 42nd Treasurer of the United States under President George W. Bush.)
NGC grades so few Burnished coins in perfect 70 condition that the auction and price guide values for flawless specimens routinely trade for thousands of dollars per coin.
The Math Most Dealers Don't Want You to See
Because Global Coin bases our retail price directly on our cost — not on what the market could bear — we are offering the entire 19-piece set for only $15,180.
Compare that to the NGC Price Guide, which currently lists this exact set at $61,250 in an inferior, higher-population label.
That's a four-times multiplier on the official price guide. Built into the set. On day one.
These ten sets took four years to procure, and they will be sold out within minutes.

About the 2008/2007 Silver Eagle Error — The Crown Jewel
List Price: $15,000 (just for this one coin)
You can't talk about this set without talking about the 2008/2007 "Reverse of 2007" error. This is, simply put, one of the most significant and sought-after varieties in the entire American Silver Eagle series.
- Major "Reverse of 2007" Mint Error: A legendary modern rarity, created when the U.S. Mint accidentally used 2007-dated reverse dies to strike 2008-dated coins.
- Scarce and Documented Die Error: Estimated mintage of only 47,000 pieces — just 8% of the total 2008-W Burnished issue. A verifiable, coveted scarcity.
- The Pinnacle of Specimen Perfection: Graded a flawless Burnished MS70 by NGC — the highest grade possible. Zero imperfections.
- Special Burnished Uncirculated Finish: Struck on specially prepared burnished planchets, with a unique satin-like matte finish that sets it apart from bullion and proof issues.
- Easy-to-Identify Variety: Two diagnostics on the reverse — a plain "U" in "UNITED" (lacking the serif of the 2008 design) and a distinctive tilde-shaped (~) dash between "SILVER" and "ONE."
This is where a historic mistake becomes a numismatic masterpiece. The 2008-W "Reverse of 2007" Silver Eagle is what Global Coin calls a "collector's dream" — a coin born from pure serendipity. This specimen elevates that incredible story to the highest echelon of collecting.
Certified as a flawless Burnished MS70 by NGC, its quality is impeccable. This legendary variety is then crowned by the signature of Treasurer Anna Cabral, creating an unparalleled trifecta of rarity, perfection, and official provenance.
