Handcrafted by Bruce Schindler of Chasing Mammoths in Skagway, Alaska. This 24-inch necklace is built from 106.85 grams of hand-drawn 2.0mm wire, individually linked and formed from raw, unrefined placer gold sourced from three distinct Alaskan and Yukon Territory creeks:

• Barker Creek — .880 fine (~21 karat), known for its warm, vibrant yellow tone
• Parker Schnabel / Little Flake Mine — .830 fine (~20 karat), Yukon Territory gold with a distinctive natural hue
• Refined segment — .999 fine (24 karat)

The blending of three gold sources creates visible natural color variation along the chain — warmer yellows from the high-karat Barker Creek gold shifting subtly where the Parker and refined segments meet. At 88% purity, the Barker Creek gold produces a chain that is remarkably silky soft to the touch with a weight that feels substantial and luxurious against the skin.

Closure: Finished with the signature Schindler toggle clasp — a handcrafted toggle-and-bar closure designed by Bruce, distinct from mass-produced lobster claw or spring ring clasps. The toggle is forged from the same raw creek gold as the chain itself.

Construction: Each link is hand-formed from drawn wire — no machine stamping, no casting, no industrial processes. The 2.0mm wire gauge gives this chain its bold, defined link profile while maintaining the supple drape that defines Schindler's work.
