America's 250th Anniversary — A Once-in-a-Generation Numismatic Event
On July 4, 2026, America celebrates 250 years of independence. “With a single sheet of parchment and 56 signatures, America began the greatest political journey in human history.” To mark this extraordinary milestone, Global Coin has secured a presale allotment of this 2-piece set for our loyal customers — available now, before the official public release on Wednesday, July 1st. This set will be one of the most limited items available for the 250th anniversary.
The Gold Eagle — 1/4 oz .9999 Gold | Only 50 Exist in the World
The gold coin is dated 1776-2026, reads “250 Anniversary United States,” and shows a majestic bald eagle holding the Liberty Bell. At just 22mm in diameter and struck from 1/4 oz of .9999 fine gold, it is a masterpiece of small-format precision. Of the authorized mintage of only 250 gold coins, NGC — the world's largest grading service — designated just 50 as perfect, flawless MS70. The remaining 200 coins were immediately melted and destroyed. Your coin is individually numbered from 1 to 50.
The Silver Eagle — 5 oz .999 Silver | Only 250 Exist in the World
The silver coin is a commanding 65mm in diameter and struck from 5 oz of .999 fine silver. Out of a tiny mintage of 776 coins, only the best 250 were certified by NGC in flawless MS70 condition. The remaining coins were destroyed. Each silver coin is individually numbered from 1 to 250, making yours a uniquely identified piece of America's 250th anniversary.
Hand-Signed by the 42nd Treasurer of the United States
Anna Escobedo Cabral, the 42nd Treasurer of the United States — whose signature appeared on all U.S. currency during her tenure — has hand-autographed both pieces in this set as part of the Global Coin Series.
Rarer Than Anything the U.S. Mint Will Release
For comparison: the United States Mint is releasing a 1/2 oz gold piece on July 16th with a mintage of 2,026, selling raw and ungraded for $10,050. At only 50 pieces, this 1/4 oz gold coin is 40 times rarer than that release — at a fraction of the price. There are simply no other 250th anniversary numismatic items available in this combination of scarcity, condition, and provenance.
